ABOUT ROLLING RIVER
PRINTMAKERS

OF NEW ENGLAND

About RRPNE
A note from the Founder & Executive Director

Welcome to RRPNE!

Mission
Established in 2023,
My mission is to foster greater public awareness and knowledge of the history and development of original plate type printmaking via our traveling exhibition, demonstration and workshop series.
RRP encourages support to living/ working artists by coordinating events and exhibitions to increase exhibiting opportunities enhancing engagement between printmaker and the public.
RRP promotes excellence in printmaking for both beginner and professional printmakers across
New England.
RRPNE exhibitions are by invitation or are juried exhibits open to all NE based printmakers.
Curation and educational programming by Cara Gonier.

A personal organization with a public presence

RRPNE is completely volunteer based...
It is my personal organization with a public presence. There are no memberships or staff members, but just my passion in sharing my personal printmaking platform with artists and organizations who reciprocate the work.
Programming and gallery exhibitions are created so that the printmaker receives payment for sold works directly. RRPNE does not take commissions from fellow artists or donations.

For curated programs, participating artists spilt the costs of printed PR when applicable.

Exploring Creative Depths

From drypoint to silkscreen and everything in between...
RRPNE represent a diverse skill set and knowledge in almost all modes of printmaking.
Many of the exhibiting printmakers are art educators enjoying discussion and instruction thru workshops, exhibition demonstrations and talks.
Printmakers and ceramic artists are welcome to email a portfolio of work for consideration to future curated programs and exhibitions.
CARA GONIER
RRP Founder & Executive | Creative Director

Cara is an award winning painter and printmaker fascinated by the world of printmaking.
"Printmaking to me is the divine merging of the technical and painterly; the simultaneous combinations are a thrill to work with. Coming from a painting background in a small working space, I doubted if printmaking was an art form I could properly explore outside of a workshop. I soon learned there are plenty of ways to create prints with hand transfer and many small etching press alternatives and I enjoy sharing these techniques with students."

Exhibit Our Work
If you are a gallery or organization that would like to feature and host our group for exhibition, please contact the director, Cara to discuss more.

Interested in rolling with use as a participating artist?
If you enjoy a non- competitive, uplifting environment of confident artists and your prints are 100% plate pulled without post production or hand-coloring, we may be a good fit!

I am open to working with highly motivated printmakers to assist in bringing professional exhibit opportunities to the table along with consistent availability to install & take down exhibitions and assist in distributing marketing materials and exhibit excellent communication and follow up skills.

RRPNE does not discriminate against any race, gender, culture, age, religion, sexual identity or orientation.
