OFF THE PLATE
RRPNE Regional Juried Exhibition
OFF THE PLATE IS AN ANNUAL EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTING SKILLS IN TRADITIONAL PLATE MAKING THRU 100% plate pulled prints in etching press and hand-transfer technique without hand coloring or post production. A showcase of printmaking at its truest and finest form!
Submission open to all New England based printmakers in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI
framed work, printmaking accordion books and printmaking sculpture accepted.
Work must be mounted or framed and ready for wall display.
"OFF THE PLATE" highlights traditional printmaking methods of monotype and monoprint including: woodblock, linocut, etching, screen print, drypoint, mezzotint, lithography and more.
Printmaking Sculptures and accordion books are encouraged.
RRP invites New England based printmakers to submit up to 5 images for consideration.
This is an open themed exhibit.
All work must be for sale.
Criteria: your prints must be originals and 100% plate pulled. No post production or hand coloring. Prints must be professionally framed and secure with wire on the back. Please no sawtooth hangers.
Note: We appreciate you sharing your time and talents in this submission. Submissions are not a guarantee of acceptance due to space limitations. We will carefully review each print.
Please note that there are no refunds on submission fees.
All submitters will receive a general notice of selected participants to their provided email address after the jurying process is complete.

Chalk Gallery is located in the heart of downtown Newburyport;
It is the city's newest contemporary art gallery hosting rotating exhibitions from local and internationally recognized professional artists working in both 2-D and 3-D media.
SOLD WORK
Chalk Gallery will take a 35% commission on all sales.
Artists will be mailed payment in a timely manner from Chalk Gallery.
Chalk Gallery will be handling all sales and artists are responsible for providing correct contact information to the gallery for commission checks.
DROP OFF
Sun, May 3rd 3-6pm &
Mon, May 4th 10 -12noon
All selected work must be dropped off and picked up at the gallery in person.
Shipping artwork not accepted.
Please label your artwork clearly on the back with title, name of artist and price.
Artists will fill out consignment forms for the gallery day of drop off.
