ABOUT
OFF THE PLATE
Submission open to all New England based printmakers in ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI
Free submission for RRPNE Participants and Brush Gallery Artist Members with proof of current membership
A Rolling River Printmakers of New England call for printmaking
framed work, printmaking accordion books and printmaking sculpture accepted
"OFF THE PLATE" a group exhibit highlighting traditional printmaking methods of monotype and monoprint including: woodblock, linocut, etching, screen print, and more.
RRP invites New England based printmakers to submit up to 4 images for consideration.
This is an open themed exhibit. Exhibition space accommodates wall and pedestal display.
Printmaking accordion books also accepted. All work must be for sale.
Criteria: your prints must be originals and 100% plate pulled. No post production or hand coloring. Prints must be professionally framed and secure with wire on the back. Please no sawtooth hangers. Please review the brush gallery contract for exhibit procedures before submitting.

Please note that there are no refunds on submission fees.

About the jurying process: a blind jurying process in which images will be considered.
A focus on printmaking technique, composition and color scheme will be applied to offer a truly unique and diversified exhibit.

while we do not require a specific file size to images, please photograph your work void of shadows, glare, etc... blurred or low quality images will be difficult to jury.

The Brush Art Gallery and Studios is located in the Lowell National Historical Park across the courtyard from the Visitor Center.
The Brush presents museum quality exhibitions, educational programs, and has collaborated with many other nonprofit groups. Artists occupy studio spaces to interact with and educate the public on a weekly basis. Currently, eleven studio artists produce paintings, illustration, photography, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, quilts, and handwoven items. Visit their website: thebrush.org
SOLD WORK
The Brush Art Gallery and Studios will take a commission on all sales by guest artists (30% for Brush Members, 40% for non-members. Artists will receive payment in a timely manner from the Brush Art Gallery and Studios. The Brush Art Gallery & Studios will be handling all sales and artist is responsible for providing correct contact information to the gallery for commission checks.
