About this Print
Printmaking has a rich history as being a form of communication and distribution of information to educate and increase knowledge.
We appreciate the importance of literacy and acquiring skills in reading & writing that can empower people leading to better opportunities in life. This woodblock, "Off Line, Still Connected" brings all things of print together- the form of printmaking as a fine art and the form of printing in books. Here you see a simple line carving of a person settling in a comfortable position ready to take command of the large book to quench the thirst for knowledge. |
